Main duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be employed within the Service Management Team,
which in turn forms part of the Integrated Services Management Centre (ISMC),
Infrastructure Department.
Reporting to the Service Management Team Leader, the day-to-day
responsibilities of the role include:-

1) Providing Service Management support by means of facilitating
processes such as:
· Change Management – including processing requests for IT Changes,

4) Interfacing with the Service Desk, Support Teams, Customers and Third
Parties on various aspects of Service Management processes and representing the

The Client Solutions Team provides infrastructure development and support
services for PCs, operating systems, desktop applications, printers and other
peripherals. Standard supported hours are 08.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday, UK
hours, including public holidays. The work performed by the Client Solutions
Team includes the handling of incidents (faults) and work requests (primarily to
install or configure software and hardware). Involvement in desktop related
projects is expected. All work carried out by the team is tracked via Incident
