Thanks, Rob. A variation of your code seems to be working, although I have
more testing to do. The word END is no longer used in shutting down. Windows
Task Manager says that, when the program has been shut down, no process is
running.

This may depend on what actions your program takes, when closing. If there are just a couple of simple actions, your solution may be as easy as moving the code...
