1. The registration for the one-day workshop on "Design Automation Algorithms
for FPGA" is now closed. The participants will receive confirmation from VSI
secretariat along with details of the venue.

2.

The Call for Papers for VDAT 2009 is now available from http://vlsi-
india.org. The submission deadline is March 31. Please download the
Call for Papers and read it carefully. As you will notice, this
year, we are introducing some changes. The website will be updated
with details on a regular basis.

Microsoft CMT will be used for submission of papers. The submission system will
remain open until March 31. Please note that March 31 is a hard deadline.

We believe that the new focus areas we have included will make it
possible for a larger community to take part in VDAT. Please bring
this to the notice of your colleagues from other relevant
departments (EE, CS, Biomedical, etc.)
