Whoa, is this true?

A video producer just told me: "If you rename your H.264 video's
suffix from .mov to .flv, it will become a Flash video because the
compression is interchangeable."

Sorry if this has come up before, but it's news to me and a huge time saver.

A few other things that may be good to know: It can play .mp4's and .mov's, but only if they really are h264. It doesnt play the older mpeg4 or other formats...
