I just recently noticed that Blip stopped recording hits I get from
embedded videos on Myspace. I posted this question to the staff at
Blip and am still waiting for a response. I'm wondering if anybody
else has been having this problem or can offer a reason for why this
is happening. We are making a Documentary on the music scene in and
around our Pottery Shop in the Mountains of North Carolina and
periodic embedding of our videos within the music community on Myspace
has been a fantastic way to get others in the country interested in
our project. Lately, however, I've noticed our daily hits categorized
as "feeds" by Blip has dropped from 600-700 per day to zero. The only
traffic we've been logging has been from people who visit our Blip
site directly. The only possible explanation I can think of is that I
have recently have been altering the size of the Show Player provided
by Blip for copying and pasting into other sites. In other words, I
have been changing in the Html the size from say "620" x "510" to
"350" x "225". This is all over my head, but I'm guessing that by
doing this, Blip then does not recognize a hit received on one of my
embedded videos. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I'll
leave ya'll with something much more entertaining. Here's a clip from
our last concert with Sarah Siskind:
