Last March, during Videoformes 2008 Video art Festival in Clermont-
Ferrand (France), Franco-Colombian artist Triny Prada
was brutally and senselessly arrested. She was put in jail, her
professional-grade Sony camera
was broken by one of the policemen who arrested her. On Tuesday,
October 16 at 2:30 PM,
Triny Prada will stand trial for "public drunkenness", despite the
fact that many can testify
she was neither drunk nor making any trouble.
