Description

Virtropy began as a Mensa project, developed originally from the email Directory of Members, and now (detached from Mensa) subscribes any who apply. Virtropy means movement toward virtuality, virility, and virtuosity. Virtropy intends to quest for superlative virtu via the consilience of cognitive science, machine intelligence, synthetic evolution, memetics, cosmology, robotics, and a recently introduced focus on “psychonomy” -- the study of human behavior beyond the particular. As virtually everywhere else, so here, authentic authority belongs to the one who best answers those who question authority. (The answer that makes us all laugh the hardest, and/or directly experience reality, prevails as Best Answer.)
Inferior men work for equality. Mediocre men strive for excellence. Exceptional men attain enlightenment. Enlightened men engender virtropy.
