I asked Canon if their pixma printers allowed in-stream control characters
that could change the text color, but they said that I would have to write a
special driver, and they had no idea how to do that. So then I thought I could
send text to a file using object.forecolor here and there. Have not been able
to find a simple way to access the forecolor without going through the
properties window. Any suggestions? g
