Re: color print

My sympathies, Grant.
I will not be buying any more Canon printers. Their support generally,
and for Linux in particular, is Charlie Romeo Alpha Papa, and the price
of ink cartridges here in Oz is a rip-off.
However, I don't think there are many WYSIWYG "Windows" printers that
allow in stream control. I still use an old Star dot matrix as an echo
sounder printer, because it has tractor feed, and "Control Z"
functionality. It takes forever, but I have not found a suitable
replacement. Not to worry, the sounder and I are both past use-by date.

For your problem, would it be possible to have your program use VBA to
assemble a Word file, making font colour changes as required, then
print that? Just an idea, I know zip about VBA.
Good luck, anyway.
cheers, Ken
