Does anyone know how to word wrap while printing in VB? I'm trying to make the
program print label1's caption and I can't figure out how to word wrap. Someone
help!
Visual Basic has no built-in way to access ports. A solution is to use a DLL
written in Delphi or C that enables you to use inp and out routines in
Visual-Basic programs.
the blank space where the picture should be has a link to a page that the
picture is on.<br>it should just reference the actual picture.<br>like <img

I am working on a Java editor in VB5. I want my
project to have "Code Indenting" feature. Any one have
any suggestions about what is the best way for doing
that. Currently, I am thinking of scanning the code,
store the beginning and ending of blocks in a stack
then add TABs to the strings in the stack. It works
but very slow (when I have a large file)
Again thankyou all for posting the links in the
link section, that is what makes this club up.<br>If
anyone else knows of any other links please list them in
the links section of the
club.<br>THANKYOU<br><br>Fornoman

hello again <br><br>I haven't seen the crystal report ocx control in the new vb6
version, and what control should I use instead of this. (crystal report).
your are correct. at the time i wrote it i never
thought about making it so you could have different user
accounts with different types of access. but ill email you
the source to it and you can probably add that
feature very easily.
thanks j11281,<br><br>yeah I like to have your
codes since you are willing to send me. :-)<br><br>what
i userstand on your explanation is the program will
let only one user log in at one time. May be i am
wrong. Actually, what i would like to do is that limit
the user's account in acess, like 10-100, and they
can be log it in the system at the same time without
any conflicts..<br><br>thanks
well the best i could do is give you a password
program i made. it has to files you run. the first is to
set the password. when you first run it it will ask
for a new password and for you to confirm it because
it wont find the ini file the information is saved
to. then whenever you goto to change it it asks for
the old password simply because it finds the ini
file. it checks all the text the user types in to whats
in the ini file(when typing in old password) and
checks the new password to see if the user typed it in
both times correctly. After a password is set the
other program should be ran if you plan on locking
other people out if the system. that programs checks
the text to the value in the ini file. there is no
way to get out of the program short of pressing the
reset button or power switch. i locked the mouse
pointer to the window and removed trapped all of the
keyboard short cuts that could allow you to leave the
program or bypass it. i also removed the x button from
the title bar. so if it sounds like this is something
you may want email me and ill send it to you.
Hi there, I can be said that I am a Intermediate
user in vb, but anyhow, I need some helps from all of
the members, which is, that I would like to program a
password protection system that the passwrod is accessed
through the ms-access database table, what i mean
is...<br>when the new user register at the program, the
password and the user id will be written in the access
database, and the user has the facility like changing
password. when the user log it i the system, he/she need to
type in password and userid, in the prompted window,
and the system will be search from the access
database, when the passwrod and userid are matched in the
access, the system let the user in..<br><br>so. that
actually, what function and what method should I be used?
or is that possible to do with vb alone? Do I need
to put some sql stuffs in
it?<br><br>regards..<br><br>myatth
