I also have the same version of Windows 98. I have NOT used Partition Magic
at all.

Phil,
I have the same edition of Windows 98 that you do (4.10 2222A) and yes, I
currently have my 75 GB hard drive partitioned using Partition Magic.
HOWEVER, I had this same "volumebug" back with my earlier Dell computer
which was not partitioned and had the problem with my current Dell before I
partitioned it.
