>How do you tell what version your BIOS is ?

When you power up your PC the first "black" screen reports the video card
summary, the second the mobo BIOS version, the third the Promise BIOS version.
You can stop this pages if they are too fast and you aren't able to read them by
pressing the Stop key on your keyboard (the upper row rightmost key), then any
other key resumes the boot.
