What about just typing the title of the orphaned page in the desired
spot of your document? I'll get a link to the orphaned if I do this.

There is no such feature in VP. IMHO it won't make that much sense
because you only would get something like "put the link at the top or
bottom of the selected page", which probably won't be a fit in most
cases, even on link-only pages.

I don't understand what you mean, sorry. You probably have to use 3rd
party software which is mentioned here:
