Re: STS-127

Hey Emily & Tom,

The Viewmaster is for keeps. I still want to see the second and third
reel though.

I'll be picking up some Galileoscopes tomorrow night, hopefully. One
of 'em is for your family. I'll link up with you guys at one of the
upcoming VPAS events.

I'm glad that you're enjoying the NASA TV during your recovery. I
stayed home yesterday and watched the fifth delay / scrub, too. It was
cool watching the astronauts van cruise on down where we were waiting
only a couple of days ago. Maybe Wednesday or even Thursday it will
finally launch. I'll keep my fingers crossed. We could have eaten
another half dozen Chipotle delights had we remained, but our wallets
would be much, much thinner at this point. It was a memorable journey
none-the-less. And hey, we even got the t-shirts this time.

Thank you, Laura, for the use of the Odyssey. It really is a nice
ride. Thank goodness for your and Judy's tolerance for the AstroBuddy
family members' quests to view one of the last winged space flights
soar into the heavens from the KSC Causeway.

Clear Dark Skies,
Bird
