Revisiting my compile on Slackware 12.0 problem,
I see that I have libmini 8.5.6:
README.html:Version 8.5.6 as of 4.November.2007
(Seems I downloaded it on 13 Nov 2007).

But 8.5.6 isn't available any more at http://www.stereofx.org/download/
There are versions 8.5, 8.6 and 8.6.1

The 8.5 version from the libmini website gives:
README.html:Version 8.5 as of 18.October.2007

So I wonder:
-do I have a good copy of 8.5.6?
-where do I download 8.5.6 from?
-could/should I use 8.5 or 8.6?
