I am trying to produce a desert landscape with a deep chasm in the
surface (running away from the camera). I have tried creating a thin
mountain ridge and inverting it but this doesn't seem to work.

I'm afraid my finances meant I had to stop upgrading with Version 3.1
Mover but it still affords me what I need and I'm happy with it.

I shall be even happier if anyone could solve this little problem for
me.
