There's a program you can download from Nokia's website (yes I know this is a Sony Ericsson group but bear with me) which will convert mpeg4 files and WMV files to .3gp files which you CAN view on your phone. Extremely simple to use and you can then send them to the handset.

Nokia Multimedia Converter 2.0. Oh I forgot to mention that once it gets converted to .3gp it'll work on Sony Ericssons, Nokias, Motorolas, etc... you name it....
