At Jay's gentle reminder, I pulled together a quick introduction to get the ball rolling on a regular series of alerts on clickstream-cookie uses. I know it's a bit goofy, but I really like the WAAAA! as the title as it does convey what most people think of when they think of our topics. I also kept the content short and the tone of the brief light to raise the interest level.
Just to be clear; this is not a response to the CDD report. I've known the guy who issued that alert for a while and I genuinely believe he is smoking his own form of crack. Thankfully, no one in the beltway really takes him seriously. I think our best approach to him is let it die down. In my opinion, we have our mission and focus and we should stick to it.
I think we should schedule a make-up call to discuss this and a couple of other agenda items that have been proposed to the group sometime soon. I'll default to Jay to schedule, but the week after next might be good to debrief from the FTC event as well.
Thoughts?
Best,
Ben
