Yup - you should be able to connect via the local network, not going through
the internet at all. What you want is WASTE over LAN, not WAN. Assuming
you're on Windows, run a command prompt (start -> run -> type "command" and
hit enter) and type "ipconfig". That'll tell you your local IP address. Just
find out each computer's local IP (as Brian said, probably 192.168.x.x, or
maybe 169.254.x.x) and connect to it from WASTE on the other computer.

If you need to connect through the net for some reason, make sure that
you're both using different ports and that the ports are forwarded to the
right computers on the router settings then just connect to the IP. It'll be
a setting on the router named "port forwarding", "port mapping", "virtual
servers" or something.

Is it possible to set up WASTE between computers that are connected to the same wireless router? If so, how? If not, pooh....

Yeah, just connect to the other guy's local IP address (usually it's like 192.168.x.x). ... __________________________________ Yahoo! Music Unlimited Access...
