The secure chat app I posted about before, at this link:
http://tinyurl.com/8jhuwm I modified it a bit over the weekend & made
it even more versatile then it was before.
I grafted Privoxy onto the chat app (with most of Privoxy's recent
filter enhancements) & came up with a version of Tor Portable I call
Tor-Portable-Chat:

From the comments in either of those archives:
==================================
To use Tor-Portable-Chat:
Extract contents to any drive.
To launch TorChat,
Tor Portable, and Privoxy
Run the batch file:
'Tor-Portable-Chat.bat'
For all browser proxy settings
(except for SOCKS), Privoxy is
set to work on 127.0.0.1:8118
For SOCKS use 127.0.0.1:11109,
(SOCKS5, say for a chat program
Such as AOL IM, Yahoo IM, MSN,
etc)
To 'kill' Tor Portable simply close
TorChat, and close Privoxy. The
Connections will all close instantly
For TorChat & Tor Portable,
However Privoxy must be
Closed manually, sorry.
Note:
Privoxy does not support FTP
