This group is for exchanging information about video cameras using the Sony HAD EX-view CCDs (both type 1/3 and 1/2) and the Sony 1310 and 2463 chipset.
We started with the Watec LCL-802H CCD video camera and its use and modifications. Most of the applications are for astronomical imaging but other uses like microscopy also apply.
Modifications to this camera may very well carry over to other cameras using these chips. Some other cameras include KT&C cameras sold by Supercircuits as: PC-164C, PC-164C-EX, PC-180nn, and PC-182nn.
