Created in light of the UN International year on Freshwater 2003:
PHOTO ART CALENDAR "Water. Element of Life"

Kitzbühel, Austria:

The United Nations, by virtue of a General Assembly resolution, have
declared 2003 as the international "Year of Freshwater." This declaration
has inspired art photographer Markus Mitterer to create a photo art calendar
with a selection of his finest "waterworks".

A portion of the proceeds from every calendar sold goes to support the
global "WASH" - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for all - campaign of the
"Water Supply & Sanitation Collaborative Council". One of WASH's major goals
is to improve the quality of sanitation services and access to safe and
sustainable water on our planet (more info on www.wsscc.org).

The calendar is made up of 13 uniquely impressive images. It ranges in style
from realistic to abstract. The possibility to have a company (or other)
logo printed on all 12 monthly pages, makes this calendar a beautiful gift
to business partners and friends.
