Dear colleagues,
I would like to inform you that we are conducting a study on economies of
scale in the provision of drinking water supply and sanitation services,
principally in urban areas. Its objective is to contribute to the
formulation of public policies that would allow to take advantage of these
economies and to overcome the problems caused by decentralization,
especially to municipal level. Any suggestion of studies, cases,
legislation, experiences, etc. would be most welcome and appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Andrei S. Jouravlev
Economic Affairs Officer
