Wave VCD "core dump"

Hello,

The problem is more subtil. The VCD file is correctly displayed when
using GTKviewer (a little laxist VCD viewer) and not by Wave VCD which
crash.

The problem raised by an obsolete .settings file could be easy to solve if the .settings file was a simple editable text file. Then it could be easy to modify...
