... ZOWIE! That's the best recreation of the moon I've seen! ... Very cool! ... Nice use of PostProcessing! ... Were you using fractal depth maps? ... Uh,...
... Seconded! :) ... Absolutely - brilliant stuff :) ... You could create some rocks in Max with a simple deformed and jittered sphere. Import those instead of...

Hello! I wanted to ask if anybody has done a flood visualization with WCS/VNS yet? Has anybody got an idea how to show a flooding which is caused by a mountain...
Have you tried animating the water depth of a stream component? Your stream component will need a wide effect radius (in theory as wide as the widest part of...

... Actually, there's a way to solve this, even in WCS 5 if I recall. Unfortunately, I don't recall how it works. I'm hoping Adam does, and if he doesn't, we...
... Ahh, fluid dynamics simulation. BTW, should you have water height/depth data generated by a flood modeling program, you could probably get it into VNS2 in...
... LOL! It is quite easy, actually... On the Beach Gradient page of the Lake Editor, there is a checkbox marked "Use reference elevation" Set this value to be...
i threw this out thursday and friday and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to solve this seamingly easy problem........ i've created a simple area...

... It looks like you are using spline vectors for your road. I believe this can be caused if you have too sharp of an angle in your vector. Try interpolating...
For some reason water bodies will not render for me... I have the priority set ok I think, test renders show the vector locations but still no water imagery....
Are your lake components attached to the bounding vectors? Are your lake components enabled? Are lakes enabled in your preview/render options? Priority should...
Or could the yellow line jaggies be caused by horizontal displacement in Terrain Parameters? Cheers, Zack...

Have you vertically rescaled your terrain at all? If so, is the "scale other elevations" checkbox enabled? Apart from that, I can think of no reason why this...
Also, Measure the terrain elevation where you think water should be and see if your lake component elevation is above that. Cheers, Zack...
