Just in case it's not clear to non-Australian's:

(a) "a beer" does NOT imply only one. So no worries on that score 'K?
(b) "or something" is slang for a slab of beer or a keg of beer.
Depending on local custom, access to refrigeration etc.

And I'm *positive* Rod would love to demonstrate how Aussie's say
"Crikey" for anyone who asks.[1]
