I checked the code on http://cableorganizer.com/
I think there may be issues with this call:
http://search.cableorganizer.com/autosuggest/searchbox_suggest_v1.js
there's a delay of 12s or so when this is called whilst the=20
browser is unresponsive before it continues.

My guess is that this script is doing something to hang=20
the browser loading/rendering until it's finished.

Quite why this might be an issue in IE6 I'm not too sure without=20
debugging the javascript involved, but I'd start there.

I was testing an app on a client site yesterday and was having trouble getting the app to work in IE6. In FF is worked fine and others in IE7 had no issues...

When i tried viewing your site in ie6 it crashed my browser so my guess is some javascript bug. you might also want to check your html validation - you got 144...
