Yes, the main concern I have with using query strings in rss feeds is
that in the eyes of google I'm essentially creating multiple url's for
the same actual page.
Compounding this is that I have ten or more different rss feeds, each
with their own query string, all of which could potentially contain
the same page. So now that single page is being spread across at
least 11 url's.
I've explored the NOINDEX Meta solution, however, a large volume of my
traffic comes from rss and blacking out those pages would potentially
bring down that single page's ranking. (According to the resident seo
expert in my office.)
I'm afraid that the best interests of seo and analytics are in direct
opposition to each other on this topic. Are there any other options?
