I would be grateful to have your thoughts on this GA puzzle.
I have an email campaign called LED. A user enters our website through
this campaign and then exits the site. At a later date they enter our
website directly and then places an order which is part of a goal
conversion. Will GA log this goal conversion under the LED campaign. I
am hoping that as soon as the session ends then this user is no
longer "logged" under the LED campaign. Any thoughts from you experts
would be appreciated.
thanks
Lee

If their second visit is direct (ie. a bookmark or typing your URL in directly), then their source/campaign will still be LED. You can however change the...

Hello Lee, Well, it depends. When you say on the second visit they "enter the website directly" do you mean they type the URL in the address bar? If you are...

Jaimie, I mean either through the URL or via a bookmark in favourites, i.e. not through another campaign. Looks as if the results will be a little skewed then....
