Announcing a new measure of Audience Engagement ...   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

It's been awhile since we've talked about measures of engagement here
in the group but I just posted about some work I've been doing with
comScore that a few of you might be interested in:

http://is.gd/4oqd

Essentially we've run the comScore panel data through a portion of the
Web Analytics Demystified Visitor Engagement framework so that you can
now compare levels of engagement across all of the sites in the
comScore panel.

Those of you who are interested in this type of thing should check out
the post. I welcome your feedback at my blog, or, if you're coming to
D.C. for Emetrics, look for me there.

Again, the post is up at:

Cheers,

Eric T. Peterson

... The issue isn't whether or not people try to game the system, it is the ambiguity of the meaning of the behavior. To disambiguate between poor site design...

... Ah I see now. Clearly I missed them. Apologies. I slow skim read about half way through, and only saw simplistic sum calculations. Blame it on being too...

Let me chime in here. I think our notion ("we" being comScore) is that engagement exists as a different thing by content category; one wouldn't compare a news...
