expanding our Analytics team and recruiting for a Senior Marketing
Analyst - Web Analytics to provide critical web analysis and online
reporting for our Marketing and Online teams.
This position provides critical web analytic and online reporting to
achieve REI's business objectives. As a member of the web analytics
team, this position plays a key role in the implementation of
analytic programs, designed to further understanding and maximize
sales. Specific responsibilities include providing reporting,
analysis, and testing support and direction to the online team and
the online marketing team, interpreting said reports and analysis in
order to promote customer focused decision making, producing
standard customer level metric reporting, providing company-wide ad
hoc analysis support, and the development and execution of customer
level research and analysis projects.
This position will also play a role in strategic database
development, maintenance, and enhancement, and development,
implementation, and support of multi-channel programs across REI.
This position provides support to the online leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years experience in database marketing and analysis, including
data mining, preferably with a multi-channel retailer, and with a
focus on online analytics.
- Proficiency with an online analytics tool, such as Coremetrics or
Omniture.
- System experience with relational databases and SQL, as well as
analytical tools such as SAS or SPSS, is desired.
- A solid retail business understanding and the proven ability to
perform in-depth analysis, compile and interpret results, and report
and present strategies and make recommendations to senior management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative or marketing field; masters or
MBA preferred but not required.
