Key responsibilities and challenges include:

- Define and execute QuickBooks Financial Supplies Group’s overall web marketing strategy in order to drive higher revenue through the web channel.

- Own the overall end-to-end web customer experience and ensure that the business is delivering a best-of-breed solution that over-delivers against customer expectations and is based upon direct customer input.

- Manage a high performing and engaged web team that can successfully deliver on the customer and revenue targets.

- Build Financial Services Group’s (FSG’s) web marketing expertise in acquisition and reorder, scalability to integrate new web partners, web research and analytics, and much more.

- Work closely with marketing, product management, web development, and customer support.

 

Qualifications :      

- A marketing professional with 7+ years of progressive experience. A minimum of 4+ years on-line marketing experience.

- A clear track record of leading growth in the web channel for a company selling products directly to consumers and/or small businesses.

- The ideal candidate will combine classic strategic marketing skills with experience in direct marketing of practical products and services through the Internet.

- Strong technical marketing expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it.

- A leader that will keep the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics while meeting ongoing business objectives.

- Track record of success working and influencing organizations at all levels, being persuasive and effective even where no direct reporting relationship exists.

- An understanding of web technology at the business level and how to use it to provide competitive advantage.

- Ability to develop a strategy and frame the communication for action to drive a team and cross-functional support.

- Strong prioritization skills enabling the team to do a great job on the right things and empowering them to choose what not to do.

- Good business understanding of current web-enabling technologies, usability and design, engineering.

- B.S./B.A. degree in an appropriate technology or business-related field. MBA preferred.
