I've been using Web Confidential since 2001... and I use it all the
time on my Palm but am no longer actively using the old Mac software
(Mac OS 9.22, Web Confidential Mac version 3.6.1, Palm version 1.3).
The newer Mac isn't compatible with my old Palm, and I'm using Ubuntu
linux on the old Mac.

I'm syncing using a linux utility now (j-pilot) and I wondered if it's
possible to manually copy the Web Confidential Database.pdb and open
the updated data on the old Mac. I tried copying the file and Web
Confidential complained that it was not a Web Confidential file.
Apparently the Palm conduit performs some sort of conversion. Can I
invoke that conversion myself?
