Description

An open forum for discussing development of sites and software that connect with or in some way exploit Webjay.org. Examples of this would be playlist websites, mp3 player plugins that can fetch playlists from Webjay, APIs that make for easier Webjay-oriented development.

Webjay.org is a playlist website - it lets you create instantly playable playlists of MP3s and other audio and video formats. The internet equivalent of making a mix-tape or mix-CD and sharing it with your friends through a single URL.

Webjay.org was developed by Lucas Gonze. Its inception followed conversations with his friends centered on finding new and legal ways for sharing music and video through the internet.

Well put by all. It's a bummer but such is life. Glad for what we all got out of it.

Re: RIP Webjay
Indeed it has been fun. Pretty well half of the tunes I listen to are influenced by Webjay. It got me past my post-collegiate music slump and into new stuff.
