1. "Set Up Your Own Affiliate Program Today!"

One of the best ways to generate income from your
web site is to offer your own affiliate program.
Pay others to market your products or services.
What better way to pay for advertising out of
profits rather than out of your own pocket?

It is very easy to set up your own simple program.
And, the best part is that it is affordable.

Here is a step-by-step guide to set up your own
affiliate program and have it announced to the
world for less than $80.

1. Plan your affiliate program.
Request Neil Durrant's free report at

you started.

Tip: To view an example of an excellent
affiliate program and to learn first-hand
how a successful affiliate program should
be run, sign up free as an affiliate of
"Make Your Site Sell" at

2. Get your affordable program at
http://SimpleAffiliate.com/s.cgi?index-2614

3. Configure and set up your SimpleAffiliate Script
according to the instructions that you receive
with the program.

Tip: Configure your counter.dat file to start
with 1000 instead of 1. It looks better to
have more digits in the affiliate number.

4. Set up your affiliate information pages and save
these in a folder entitled "affiliates."

Tip: Set up an exit pop-up window after the
welcome page, inviting your new affiliate to
sign up for your newsletter or a free offer
etc. To create your own exit pop-up window

5. Set up your sales pages and save them in the
"affiliates" folder.

6. Set up your order / payment page(s)

You will want to have the ability to set up
an order form on a Secure Server and have the
ability to accept credit cards. For an order
form that works well with your SimpleAffiliate
script, view the sample at

NOTE: This is a real order form, but not a
real affiliate program. (Yes, you may order
the book if you like :) )

up an order form on a secure server, send your

Create a redirect page to your secure server
order page. Place this in your "affiliates"
folder. View the example at

(To view the HTML source code use the "Open Location
in Composer" under the File menu of Netscape.)

Why is this redirect page so important? Because
it utilizes your tracking code so that your order
form will provide the appropriate tracking number
for your affiliate.

7. Test Your Program

Sign up as an affiliate and test the pages and
the order process.

8. Promote your affiliate program
