I don't know how much of it is just people being kind, but I've had loads of people look at my photographs and say "you should sell these". So, following my friend Susan's example, I have decided to give it a try and join a stock photo service. The one I've chosen is iStockPhoto and I've now started uploading in earnest to my portfolio there after having an initial three photos accepted by their eagle-eyed reviewers. We'll see what happens.
