o Webots 4.0.26 released

This new version of Webots is the last one before Webots 5 (to be
released in December 2004). Webots 4.0.26 fixes a lot of small bugs
and adds a few new features. The complete change log is available

o Web site updates

Cyberbotics web site has been changed a little bit with fast pointers
to the documentation and download section. Moreover new movies
have been added. They include the work of Mahdi Asadpour from
the Sharif University of Technology (Iran) featuring a very nice robot
soccer system and the work of Nicolas Uebelhart from the EIVD
(Switzerland) featuring a Sojourner model climbing obstacles on Mars.
Finally we have a new credit card payment system up and ready.

o Cyberbotics joined the Swiss Mobile Robotics Consortium

In order to offer its expertise and products in fast prototyping and
simulation of mobile robots, Cyberbotics joined the Swiss Mobile
Robotics Consortium. This consortium aims at handling medium to
large industrial projects in mobile robotics. It is currently composed
of four swiss robotics companies: BlueBotics, Cyberbotics, FiveCo
and K-Team. The url of this consortium is

o Haifa Robot Competition

The University of Haifa is organizing a student robot competition,
to take place on 14, April 2005. This event is dedicated to the scientific
aspect of robot research and allows participants not only to be scored
by the achieved capabilities at the competition site, but also for the
design, the process implementation know-how and any other scientific
aspect of the project development. More information on:
