Cyberbotics to sponsor IROS 2005 conference
Cyberbotics will offer US$500 and a Webots PRO pack to
award the best experimental robotics paper of the
conference. This new award called the "IROS Cyberbotics
Award for Experimental Robotics" will be decerned during
the conference banquet on August 4th, 2005.

Webots 5.0.4 released
This new release of Webots fixes a number of issues and
adds a few new extra features. It is recommended to
upgrade if you are using a previous version of Webots 5.

Roboka contest: and the winners are...
Anders Lyhagen and Johan Larsson from Sweden (again!).
This prestigious team won again the contest as they did
it last year. Congratulation again! Many thanks to all
the competitors for this great contest. We had 49 teams
this year and a lot of fun with all these robots.

Intelligent Adaptive Curiosity
Pierre-Yves Oudeyer and Frederic Kaplan from the Sony
Computer Science lab in Paris published a interesting
paper in which curiosity is used as a drive for
learning. Robots simulated in Webots are learning easy
situations first before addressing more complex ones.
