New Shrimp movie available online e-puck robot news
Shrimp robot A nice movie (10 MB) of a Webots simulation of the Shrimp robot was added on Cyberbotics web site. This movie demonstrates the Shrimp climbing various types of obstacles, including stairs, and turning left and right.

e-puck robot We expect to receive our very first batch of e-puck robots from production by November 6th. We already sold out all of them and ordered another batch! In the meanwhile, we have been progressing on the development of the integration of the e-puck in Webots. The Bluetooth communication was improved and we progressed in the development of a multi-platform cross-compiler using the Webots API. We also published a new simulation movie (8 MB).
Khepera robot learning garbage collecting Webots 5.1.10 released
Garbage collector Ricardo Tellez developed a modular neural network system allowing a Khepera robot to learn incrementally a number of tasks, including a garbage collecting behavior. A web site featuring simulation movies explains the details of this interesting research. The Webots source code is made available on the site as well as two scientific papers.
Webots We just released Webots 5.1.10. You can review the change log here. This is a minor upgrade which fixes a number of small bugs and problems. Hence, we recommend to all Webots users to upgrade to this new version if they experience problems with their current version or if they want to stay on the bleeding edge of the Webots development! Any feedback on new releases is always greatly appreciated... 
Surveyor's SVR-1 robot to be included in Webots
Surveyor SVR-1
 We are currently developing a model of the Surveyor SVR-1 robot in Webots. This dual motor tracked robot has an onboard VGA camera, 4 infra-red distance sensors and a Zigbee wireless communication module allowing teleoperation from a PC. The simulation model will use the same control protocol as the real robot.
