Webots 5.4.0 released Dongle-based Webots licenses 
Webots This new version of Webots features the ability to detect inner robot collisions, an improved servo API with force feedback and several bug fixes, including a discrepancy between the simulation time and the robot controller time (see change log for details). You can download it here.

dongle Since Webots 5.3.0, we introduced a new license management system based on a USB dongle which replaces the webots.key license file. Thanks to this new system, it is now easier to move your Webots license from one computer to another.
Review of Webots published in Artificial Life Summer Holidays
MIT Artificial Life Ricardo Téllez and Cecilio Angulo published a nice review of Webots in the Summer 2007 issue of the Artifical Life journal (MIT Press). The review briefly explains the simulation engine used in Webots and compares it to other simulation software.
