Great application - I can see it being a very handy addition to my observing tools.

 

Being in the Southern Hemisphere, I decided to create my own catalogue of targets, as many of the objects I was expecting to see weren't in the list that ships with the application.  Rather ambitiously I decided to load up the whole NGC list, and spent quite some time fiddling with the format to get it right.  What I then found is that What's Up seems to be limited to ~500 catalogue entries.  Is there any reason for this limit, or could it be extended to say 10,000?
