The Women's Environmental Assembly with UN ECOSOC (WEA) and the Organising
Committee of the International Conference "Prospects for Conservation and
Development of the United Planetary Civilisation" have the honour to invite
you to participate in the Conference and to enter its Organisational
Committee. The Conference is being supported by a number of the Russian
State Duma (Parliament) sub-committees and some non-governmental
organisations highly rated among the world Academies and international
Public movements. The latter is specially important as the Conference is
going to be held within a "Peoples Diplomacy" framework, it is not engaged
in whatsoever manner and is not directed "from above". And this is not
coincidental that we are addressing you for your support as we are
absolutely sure that you were one of the first to make steps towards unity
of the mankind, and your name will ever be related with a trend, expressed
briefly by the words of J. Khool: "I invite you to throw away your
antagonisms and negative feelings, your hatred and racial chauvinism and try
to think in terms of the single family, single life and single humanity".
The main task of the Conference will be development in the human society of
the Planet Earth of mechanism for coordination of the human activity with
the laws of nature guaranteeing conservation of life on Earth as the
principal Criterion of Truth.
The most prominent scientists of the world are expected to participate in
the Conference to deliver the most advanced concepts of the world vision of
the 21st century, discuss the high technologies and to develop political and
economical models of the contemporary state structure that are going to be
compatible with the ideas and prospects of the ERA OF THE UNITED MANKIND.
It should be added also that during a recent poll conducted among Russian
Academic community to define "Who, in your opinion is the most respected
public figure whose opinion is appreciated by the millions of population on
Earth?" you were named among 48 the best known personalities of the world.
Just such people as you are may constitute the basic nucleus of the Global
Human Spiritual and Environmental Assembly, concept of which is supposed to
be discussed during forthcoming Conference. As you understand, without your
presence the discussion will be much less efficient.
We would heartily welcome your participation in the Conference Organising
Committee, as well as your desire to deliver a 15-30 minute statement on any
of the topics to be discussed at the Conference (in the "Panel
Discussions"). Your action in support of the Conference in any acceptable
form would be specially appreciated.

PROSPECTS FOR CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIFORM PLANETARY
CIVILISATION



The history of human society passed through certain stages that became
stepping stones for transition to the new level of the public consciousness
and development. Today we are approaching a new social development threshold
unprecedented in its scale, importance and possible aftermath. The human
race has become a force of the planetary dimension capable to interfere with
the processes maintaining balance of the biosphere and to destroy its
structure. It is high time to jointly think and discuss how we can avoid
global disasters and, saving ourselves, save our civilisation and safeguard
life on Earth.

At the brink of the millenniums the advanced scientific thought was
actively involved in drawing picture of the next stage of development of the
human civilisation. It appeared that the picture of the near future is
blurred by the acute lack of the natural resources for sustainable support
of vital needs of the planetary population. The equation between growing
needs of the human race and potential of the planetary resources has become
extremely volatile. Calculations made under different scenarios reveal that
current attitude to exploration of global resources left as is will by the
middle of the current century inevitably result in social catastrophes to
substantial part of the world's population, brought in by the acute energy
crises, famine illnesses, bloody destructive wars for the remaining natural
resources and agricultural areas. The global social catastrophes in turn
will be followed by the global natural disasters: a lot of scientists'
believe that Planet Earth is a living intellectual being sensitively
reacting to everything that happens upon its surface including human
behaviour, thoughts, acts and emotions. These beliefs have recently been
confirmed by scientific experiments and practical studies.

There are some western thinkers who see the salvation in realisation of
the "Golden Billion" idea. The idea envisages selection of the
"world-masters" - leading countries governing the world and distributing the
available resources, while the other countries' development is supposed to
be restricted by the "world-masters" at their own discretion up to use of
military force and physical extermination of the whole "second choice"
nations.

But such position of the "world's mighty" equals to suicide as the world's
history is full of examples when interference with the "Divine Plan" brought
unpredicted destructive consequences, this is why the purely rational
ruthless approach to the regulation of the world's population growth and its
resources is not safe, and may become path leading to abyss all mankind
including "world-masters" themselves.

But there is another way to the future - this is a way of life and
co-vibration with the world's order harmony. The mankind should have long
ago appreciated that it is living in the new era, and that the new forces
and powers has been given to the Man by the Nature and it only remains to
adopt those with gratitude and to learn to use and apply them into practice
of everyday human life. The advanced scientific thought is ready to say its
word here to disclose new means of energy generation and to teach a Man to
solve a lot of tasks currently seeming unsolvable and to open to the Mankind
a way to Life, to Peace and to the Future.

The advanced scientific thought - to human salvation - such would be the
basic idea and slogan of the scientific-social conference to be held at the
end of May in Moscow with participation of the most prominent scientists and
world-known businessmen, public and political figures. The Conference will
discuss problems of new kinds of energy generation and will offer to the
society and governments new means of the alternative energy use in practice
to the benefit of the future of our Planet Earth.
