Re: [whirlpower list] Re: The empty earth the polar expedition of a   Message List

don't worry, I'm open minded, (I've spent 9-10 years hot on the trail of the
holy grail, but that is another story). I just like to be in possesion of all
the facts before I go to the north pole and into the world below...it is
obviously a dangerous journey and I need to make sure I'm trusting myself to an
individual who knows what he's doing:
I have three practical problems with your explaination...and three logistical
problems for our hypothetical expedition.

1) You still haven't accounted for the mass of the earth. It would be a lot less
if the thing was hollow, and its quite easy to discern the mass of the earth
with some simple astronomy: there are three ways around it: A) An interior sun,
B) a much, much, much denser crust, or C) A massive, worldwide conspiracy to
misinform the public about how mass is calculated. Is it one of these three or
are we dealing with something else altogather?

2) You can use sonar imaging to determine the density and compositions of
substances within the earth. While you can't quite see ALL the way down, these
show overwhelmingly that the earth is pretty solid, so, how do we explain this:
A) A bug or mathematical error in all sonograms the world over B) A
massive worldwide conspiracy to forge sonograms.

3) A practical problem: How deep is the earths crust in this hollow earth? are
we talking 10 kilometers, or 100? Methinks it would be easier to simply dig,
especially since this "Polar Mouth" at the top of the world seems so darn hard
to find. Similarly, if it's only a few paltry kilometers thick, where does all
that magma come from? How do shifts in the earths magnetic field occur?

okay...now, assuming we actually do this expedition, I have some logistical
problems:

I) You claim that the gravity on the interior is maintained by centrifuge...by
the math i've got in front of me, the speed and size of the earth make for an
interior centrifuge with gravity much, much lower than earth normal. How are we
going to prepair for this?

II) Does the central world have an interior sun? if so, from where does it draw
its power? Will we need to bring flashlights? Or will it be perpetually bright
(as the sun doesn't set), so we'll need to bring sunglasses and sunscreen?

III) These denizines of the interior world...they don't seem to be too fond of
us? They clearly speak english, but don't worry, me and my friends are fluent in
swahili, latin, two dilects of chinese, and dutch. My question is: Will we be
greeted as explorers from the new world, or will they kill us for trespassing?

the speed the earth rotates around it's axis, and the diameter of its axis,
isn't near enough to supply earth/normal gravity in a centrifuge...obviously,
our expedition needs to be prepaired for gravity far below earth-normal
