Right, a better expression would have been: "I expected them to be separated by
newlines". As the first time I dragged some links to the editor the urls were
quite long, they all showed up one below the other, as if separated by new
lines. When I tried to modify one of them I actually discovered they were
separated by spaces.
If you want modify the links you dragged to the editor, for example:
[dragged_url |name of the link], it's easier if each link appears on its own
line.
Anyway, as urls do not allow spaces, a search and replace SPACE > NEW LINE
easily fixes the problem. I think one could also easily change it in the source
of Wikidpad, but I couldn't find the relevant section to modify.

I guess it also depend on the processing power of each computer. My laptop has a
1.77Mhz Intel Centrino processor and 2GB of ram, and it literally freezes every
time Wikidpad parses the page.
Increasing the value of "Highlight start delay", as Michael suggested, does
help. I can now type and actually see what I'm typing :-)
