AW: [win32forth] Re: visualforth console.f   Message List

Hi Thierry,

now I looked through all your emails and I guess the problem is that there is
some delay until the emails we send show up at Yahoo-Groups.
I was never sure knowing that an email I did send to Yahoo-Groups ever arrived,
until somebody answered to it, and I am happy I discovered some days ago that
you can look at
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/win32forth/messages?o=1 - there it shows up.

It seems to be that there is a filter which hides double messages, because when
I first looked at this address today, your email Tue Jun 30, 2009 7:35 am was
listed, and now your email Tue Jun 30, 2009 9:35 am is listed. After a while
this will change again, I guess, until your last email is listed there. But I
got your 14:40 and 15:51 email, too.
These will never show up anywhere else, I guess. It is some kind of strange,
but  it works - as long you are not urgently waiting for an answer.

Hope you are doing well meanwhile and I am and I will be happy to answer all
your questions concerning visualFORTH and I am grateful and appreciate the help
of our friendly members of the win32Forth-group.

Best Regards,

Dirk Bruehl

Hello, and thank you very much for your answer.

It seems that as I used the "c:\windows\ system32 \XCOPY " once now XCOPY alone
is recognized !

I've installed Win32Forth in the directory C:\Program Files\Win32Forth (version
6.12.00)
the batch file visualFORTH0111. bat is unpacked in C:\visualFORTH0111
visualFORTH is installed in C:\Program Files\visualFORTH

When I run visualFORTH0111. bat I still have the same problem:
I read the message "Now visualFORTH is updating... This may need some minutes"
another cmd windows appear in c:\program Files\visualFORTH\ fkernell. exe with
the following message:
Loading Comment.f : words removed from previous release ...
error(-38):. .\..\src\ console\console. f file not found.

This problem hapens also if I type the command:
start ..\..\fkernel. exe fload SetupAll.f /WAIT
from the prompt.

It is as if the setup was not finding the "C:\Program Files\Win32Forth\ src\"
path.

Thierry
