I work for a company that designs and manufactures residential wind energy
systems,
http://www.AbundantRE.com
We are interested in creating a proposal for the Energy Development and Access
Project
through the World Bank, possibly in Ghana.

We have designed two turbines that when coupled with a small solar electric
systems can
generate a consistent and substantial amount of eletricity for people outside
the national grid
system. We also want to train a support system of locals to maintain these
systems and
install more potential systems.
We are seeking partners who are familiar with generating proposals of this
natural, or local
agencies and organizations that may want to support and be a part of this
project in Africa,
or in the States.

Hello everyone. I thought this information would be of interest to
you all. Enjoy.

Will Galton

Powercorp announces the first use of its world leading Powerstore
technology on a wind/diesel grid in Australia.

The project at Coral Bay in Western Australia will see the
installation of three cyclone proof 275kW Vergnet wind turbines, a
500kVA Powerstore unit and a diesel power station consisting of
eight 320kVA Low Load Diesels.

Powercorp is supplying the Powerstore unit, the eight 320kVA low
load diesel units, the power station switchboard and the control
system to run this complex project. The balance of power station
plant including the wind farm is being installed by Verve Energy,
who will own and run the facility.

It is expected that this combination will supply over 50% of the
energy for Coral Bay from the wind, significantly reducing the
environmental affects from the power station. Commissioning is due
in April 2007.

Powercorp and Verve Energy have worked closely with Horizon Power to
design a wind/diesel solution for Coral Bay that met the very tight
reliability and quality of supply standards required. This involved
aspects of modelling, re-design and algorithm development for the
wind/diesel product.

It also meant the use of specialised wind turbines from Vergnet,
which are lightweight two-bladed downwind machines suitable for
cyclone prone areas such as Coral Bay. Being light, induction type
turbines with incredibly fast rotor responses the Powerstore unit is
required to ensure system stability at the very high penetrations
expected on this system, including days on end with over 95% wind.

Powercorp and Verve Energy have worked closely over many years to
develop world leading wind/diesel technology, having completed
projects at Denham, Hopetoun, Esperance, Bremer Bay and Rottnest
Island together using inverter coupled turbines. Most of these
systems have benefited from the use of Low Load Diesels, a product
developed by Powercorp and marketed by Diesel & Wind Systems.

The Coral Bay project will see the fourth commercially installed
PowerStore worldwide and the second in Australia. The first
PowerStore installed in Australia was at the BHP Billiton owned
Leinster Nickel Operation, where it is operating in peak lopping
mode.

Dear Sir/Madam:

We are researchers from Shih Hsin University and are launching a new
survey, this is non-profit academic research. In this survey, we
would
like to know your opinions about the topics of adoption and safety of
new energy related technology, and your opinion about Kyoto Protocol
related media issues. Your answers will produce valuable information
for our researchers. Your personal details will not be made publicly
available. You can find the URL as below:

http://www.e-mediasurvey.com

As thanks for your participating in our survey, we offer four
screen savers. The screen savers will be available for download on
the
final page of the questionnaire. They include photos of BMW H2R
hydrogen vehicle, BMW hybrid car, Honda hybrid cars 2001-2006 and
Honda fuel cell vehicles. Would you please complete the questionnaire
as part of the survey? Thank you for your cooperation.
