Re: [Win98] Does WIN98 Support USB 2 ?

Hmm. I still use a Win 98SE machine for arranging and making MIDI files with
MusicPrinter Plus. When I bought my Windows SP 'puter several years ago, I
asked the local (German) electronics store what was the most economical and
feasible approach to transferring files from the old to the new machine. I was
told to buy an USB card with included software to establish a LAN between the
two. Of course, I had to also buy a LAN cable. So I did and it worked like a
charm. Sorry, I can't give more details since I am not a genuine techie and
that's all I remember. I believe it accurate to state that Win98SE has quite a
bit more capability than Win98 "plain".

No, it does not. You can't plug a USB harddrive into a Win 98 machine
and expect it to work.
