WinTopo Freeware outputs a text file with similar information, but a
different format, like this...
ID=99, Length=19.414214, Nodes=3,
MBR=(173.000000,454.000000,192.000000,455.000000)
Direction: Begin=135.000000 deg (Sector 4); End=90.000000 deg (Sector 3)
173.00,454.00
174.00,455.00
192.00,455.00
...so you can get much the same vector info from the freeware file.
The next upgrade of WinTopo Freeware will have the same set of vector output
files as WinTopo Pro. This upgrade is due shortly after the forthcoming
upgrade release of WinTopo Pro.
Best regards from the WinTopo Support Team.

Subject: [wintopo] WinTopo data format for vector map
I realised that the vector maps saved in WinTopo Data format using
WinTopo Freeware and WinTopo Pro (Trial Version) are not the same.
See below :-
WinTopo Pro in WinTopo Data Format :-
POLYLINE, 77, 27.000000, 2, 0.000000, 93.000000, 255.000000,
120.000000, 255.000000, 3394814, 0, 0
93.00,255.00
120.00,255.00
END
POLYLINE ....
...
END
Can I save the vector maps in the above WinTopo Data Format with the
WinTopo Freeware.
