WinTopo Freeware outputs the drawing in negative Y-axis coordinates.
This is because of the convention of raster images having the TOP
left corner as coodinate 0,0 and positive Y being downwards.
Conversely, vector drawings tend to have the the positive Y going
upwards. So keeping the top left corner as coodinate 0,0 makes the
vector drawing appear just below the zero x-axis line.
WinTopo Pro does not exhibit this peculiarity, as the coordinates are
automatically adjusted to have coordinate 0,0 at the BOTTOM left
corner. Plus, there is a Georefernce function so that you can easily
locate the drawing anywhere you want it.
