Hello Bo,
You can sometimes find neon sign transformers (NST's) at your local neon
sign shops - they often tear down older signs and scrap the
transformers, so you often can get these very cheaply. Or as Charlie
mentioned, eBay also is a good source. However, because of their weight
and size, shipping can be expensive. You want older (non-GFI) type, and
they need to be transformer type, bit the newer electronic type.
12kV or 15 kV 30 or 60 mA NST's connected in parallel should provide
more than sufficient power for wireless power transfer work. I would not
recommend using a pig, since this requires a current limiting ballast,
control and other safety equipment - it would be severe overkill for
"sparkless" wireless power transmission.
